Franciacorta Pas Dosé 2017

Elegant and seductive, it combines wood and flowers in a creamy, structured sip of rare harmony and charm. Excellent with barley-and-chicory risotto. Bright gold with fine, elegant perlage, it opens with sandalwood and aromatic sage and widens to exotic fruits – pineapple, mango, papaya and lychee – intertwined with apple, apricot and Nashi pear. Florals of narcissus, jasmine and white rose blend with spices of ginger and cinnamon with shades of lavender and patchouli. On the palate it is creamy and refined, a perfect balance of freshness and smoothness which develop into a broad, enveloping, three-dimensional sip.
